Cryosauna

Cryosauna (whole-body cryotherapy) is a modern recovery procedure that uses controlled exposure of the entire body to extreme cold. Within just a few minutes, it triggers intense stimulation of the organism, supporting regeneration, reducing muscle fatigue, aiding recovery after physical performance, and contributing to an overall sense of vitality. At our wellness center, we use the revolutionary Future of Cryo technology, representing a new generation of whole-body cryotherapy. Unlike traditional cryosaunas, it operates on a 100% electric principle without the use of liquid nitrogen, which brings a higher level of safety, comfort, and process control. Thanks to even full-body cooling and precisely regulated temperature, the body achieves an optimal physiological response when the skin surface is cooled to approximately 10–15 °C. The modern German engineering ensures reliable operation, a comfortable environment without unpleasant odors, and eliminates the risks associated with exposure to nitrogen vapors. The result is a more efficient, pleasant, and technologically advanced form of cryotherapy that elevates recovery to an entirely new level.

Does cryotherapy help with pain and recovery?

Does a cryosauna session hurt?

No. A cryosauna session is not painful, even though the cold is very intense. The body is exposed to extremely low temperatures only for a short period of time, which allows it to activate natural adaptive mechanisms without the sensation of real pain. Most clients perceive the procedure more as a strong cooling effect and an intense stimulating experience rather than uncomfortable discomfort. During the first few tens of seconds, the cold may feel more intense, but the body then gradually adapts, and endorphins are released, helping to reduce the perception of discomfort.

How long does the procedure take?

A cryosauna session usually lasts 3–5 minutes, which is the ideal duration to trigger a strong regenerative response in the body without excessive strain. This short exposure to extreme cold activates natural processes such as improved blood circulation, muscle relaxation, and stimulation of the nervous system. The entire visit, however, also includes a brief preparation phase before entering the cryosauna (instruction, health check, and putting on protective equipment). Overall, the visit typically takes around 10–15 minutes, making cryotherapy a quick and time-efficient recovery method.

How quickly will I feel the effects?

Many clients feel an immediate boost of energy, improved mood, and overall freshness right after the procedure. For some, the effects continue to develop over the following hours, including better recovery, reduced muscle tension, and improved sleep quality. For longer-term benefits such as more consistent recovery, reduced pain, and support of immune and anti-inflammatory processes in the body, regular cryotherapy sessions are recommended. The most common approach is a course of 5–10 sessions within a short period (e.g. 2–3 times per week), followed by a maintenance frequency of 1–2 sessions per week depending on individual needs.

I will have a sauna just to lose weight

Yes. Cryotherapy is often used to reduce muscle and joint pain and to speed up recovery after physical exertion or injury. Extreme cold helps reduce inflammatory responses, swelling, and muscle tension, thereby supporting faster recovery of the body. It also stimulates blood circulation and the body’s natural regenerative processes, which can improve mobility, reduce the sensation of pain, and accelerate the return to full physical performance.
