PortDeBras is an aerobic training programme that was created by combining elements of modern dance and ballet using the principles of functional training and balance elements. The founder of this program is Julia Papi. The class begins with a thorough warm-up sequence consisting of smooth rhythmic movements, followed by the workout itself. The class is ended by stretching and relaxing. During the lesson, the trainer barely speaks so the client can enjoy the music and every movement of his or her body.
